I created a new project in garage band, and started to come up with new music which may be applicable for my opening sequence,it was so much fun :) But, I feel I still need to work on it, because so far, it does not fit the mood of the title sequence!!!

I have continued to edit today, coming up with different titles to add on to my scenes. I've found spaces within my shots, to make it look more professional. The next thing I need to do is start a new project on garage band, to come up with a soundtrack, and to record my friend's monologue onto the computer. I should be finished before the due date of this coursework.  I've also started to experiment with moving around my titles, trying to make it more appealing towards my target audience.

I've filmed now at the high street in High Barnet, visiting the pond, park, church, and funeral shop. Unfortunately, it was raining lightly on the day, so it had effected my work, but, at the same time, I think it added to the effect of the scene, and the melancholic atmosphere. No risks had come across on the day. I'm continuing adding titles to my project, slowly making progress, but getting there. I'm afraid of re-filming for, the weather may not be the same, and then I'll have to redo a little about of it. I did film in public places, but luckily no one happened to walk past my filming, which I found lucky and thankful for. I can't use my sound, because there are voices heard from others who were just passers by, and use hear some shouting from the teenagers at the park.

Completion of importing my work onto the desktop, so now I need to start editing, and adding some sound to my work. I have definite;y decided that I want to re-shoot some scenes!!!!

I have finished my Christmas filming, and have uploaded my work onto the school's desktop. I think I may need to re-do some shots. I may also want to add some low-angle and high angle shots to add some more variety, but so far I am happy with what I have achieved

My opening sequence I think I want an intense, metaphorical drama, deciding that maybe the opening sequence will have a narrative voice over, as my main character walks bundled up in warm clothing, and holding a coffee in her right hand, and on her left arm, a bag is attached with a letter sticking out. This takes place in the park. Voice over goes on from the character's perspective of life. We do not see what is in the letter, but we see her reading it, and then folding it reluctantly.

Accomplishment of my continiuity exercise

I've finally completed putting my clip together, and I'm very proud of myself. I found fire quark express to be very helpful with editing my continuity exercise, and very proud of myself for accomplishing this. I have saved my work on the desktop as Marie's continuity exercise.
