Reflection of half term filming, and where to go from there

During the half term filming, my artist and I met up on Friday, we were lucky with the sunny weather which relates to the mood of the song, though it was windy and cold which affected the mode of dress which I had planned. I was able to film parts of the music video, though there are still some parts which we have to film. I want to see what the footage looks like on the computer, and I can see what works and what does not. During the filming, we were referring back to the storyboard, as well as adding in more shots, the narrative evolving, which I expected would happen. I was able to get filming done indoors and outside. Unfortunately,  one of the people that I needed in music video couldn't show up, so I had just to film my artist and try to get different shots as I could; now that I am looking back, I have realized that I haven't got many shots of the artist lip-synching, so that should be resolved the next time we decide to film. We were looking back at previous music videos and comparing what we had done, and what is incorporated in a professional music video, and have come to the conclusion that we needed more shots of the lead singer lip-synching towards the camera. I feel that my lead singer's mood was not exactly fitting the uplifting mood of the song and the lyrics, and what I had imagined before filming did not happen. I wanted to add fast-paced cutting of her doing numerous things in her room such as reading a magazine and listening to music, but am not sure that what I had intended, did not come across. I have also had some technical difficulties with the camera and the stand, and am worried that some of the footage will come out shaky, one of the issues from last year which I wanted to resolve. But overall I am content that I have got some footage to work with so far. I am now going to edit the film coverage I have so far.
